Letter from Don Nordin

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I have been involved with The Spirit Today magazine since “Day One,” when Steve Lestarjette and I first discussed it as an idea. I helped him launch the publication, and CT Church has been a subscriber since the first edition. We also support placement of The Spirit Today magazine in the Jester 3 Unit in Rosharon, and received our first letter from an inmate several weeks ago.

Prison ministry is an unexpected opportunity for The Spirit Today. We are delighted to hear that chaplains across Texas and the United States are finding it an effective tool for evangelism and discipleship; I believer God will use it powerfully as He places it into the hands of men and women with open hearts. I expect that God will use this publication in other outreaches in days to come.

The Spirit Today is not “denominational.” Its original goal was to “make God famous” through stories that reflect what He is doing in today’s world. We appreciate the faith-inspiring testimonials and easy-to-read Bible studies. And I am happy to see that the magazine now includes a plan of salvation in every edition.

I know Steve and discuss the magazine with him frequently. He looks for pastors who subscribe to The Spirit Today to advise him on content. Because Steve seeks out godly advisors, I believe The Spirit Today will stay true to its mission and remain balanced in its content.

I have no hesitation in recommending this publication to any pastor, church, ministry, or organization. I encourage pastors, ministry and business leaders to help enlarge its audience — and effectiveness for Christ with their ongoing support.

In His name,

Pastor Don Nordin
